Technaxx Secure Drive Mini TX-387 is a compact in-car device that, when connected to a smartphone, provides alerts for traffic hazards, speed checks and exceeding the set speed limit. Information is indicated by audible signals and a colored RGB LED ring.
The device communicates with the phone via Bluetooth 5.2 and the TrafficNaxx app, which is available for iOS and Android. After initial pairing, the motion sensor allows it to wake up automatically and attempt to reconnect to the previously paired phone.
The integrated rechargeable 280 mAh battery provides a battery life of up to 1.5 months and charges via USB-C. With dimensions of approximately 5 cm and a weight of only 30 g, the device can be placed on the dashboard or center console.

TRAFFIC HAZARD AND SPEED CHECK ALERTS
TX-387 provides alerts for three main groups of events. Individual alerts are distinguished by the color of the LED ring:
Red – traffic hazards
Blue – radar and camera speed checks
Purple – speeding
When approaching a reported speed check or traffic hazard, the device emits an audible alert. The warning can then be confirmed or rejected using the buttons directly on the device.

DATA FROM MORE THAN 5 MILLION USERS
The system uses data from more than 5 million users and supports Blitzer.de and SCDB.info sources, for which the product documentation specifies daily updates.
Users can also contribute to keeping the information up to date. Pressing the top button once reports a speed check, while pressing it twice reports a traffic hazard. After receiving an alert, the same button can be used to confirm the presence of the speed check or hazard.

AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION
The integrated motion sensor allows the device to wake up automatically. Once activated, TX-387 attempts to automatically connect to the previously paired phone for two minutes. After a successful connection, the device is ready for use without the need for repeated manual pairing.

TRAFFICNAXX APP
The TrafficNaxx app is available for iOS and Android. It displays a map showing the locations of traffic hazards and cameras and also includes navigation instructions.
The app allows you to check the battery status of the TX-387 and adjust settings such as the alert interval, speeding warning, volume, LED indication or app language.
Only one smartphone can be connected to the device at a time.

APPLE CARPLAY AND ANDROID AUTO
Compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This allows the app and related information to also be used with a compatible vehicle infotainment system.

RGB LIGHT INDICATION
A prominent RGB LED ring runs around the device. In addition to distinguishing between individual types of traffic alerts, the LED also indicates operating status.
On page 2 of the manual, the device is shown from the front and rear, with the RGB LED indicator, button for reporting and confirming alerts, magnetic mounting section, power button and USB-C connector identified.

COMPACT INSTALLATION IN THE CAR
TX-387 can be placed in the center console or mounted in a suitable location on the dashboard.
The device must not be installed in a location where it could obstruct the driver's view.

BATTERY LIFE UP TO 1.5 MONTHS
The built-in rechargeable LIR3048 battery has a capacity of 280 mAh and a voltage of 3.7 V. The specified battery life is up to 1.5 months. Charging takes place via USB-C with a maximum input of 5 V / 0.2 A.
The battery status can be checked in the app. When the battery capacity drops to 20% or below, the device provides audible warnings after connecting to the phone.
